Augie’s Mussel House

Located on Alexandria’s vibrant King Street, Augie’s Mussel House brings Belgian-inspired fare and a lively beer garden experience to Old Town Alexandria. We transformed a former steakhouse into an indoor-outdoor destination, providing full architectural and interior design services. The project required Historic Board of Architectural Review approval and includes a bar and dining areas, kitchen, restrooms, and exterior patio.

Paros Tribeca

Paros is a contemporary Greek restaurant in Tribeca, designed for brothers Nick and George Pagonis—known for their culinary roots and George’s Top Chef acclaim. The design blends the textured, sun-washed architecture of the Greek islands with the industrial character of Tribeca, creating a space that feels both transportive and local. Natural materials, sculpted surfaces, and warm lighting evoke their Aegean heritage, while honoring the grit and rhythm of New York City’s most storied downtown neighborhood.

Urbano 116

Located on King Street in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, Urbano 116 brings contemporary design to a historic 1885 building originally constructed as a machine shop by brothers John and Harry Aitchison. The restaurant seats over 160 guests and required approval from the Board of Architectural Review. Designed to evoke the energy of Mexico City, the interior blends vibrant modern elements with the building’s industrial heritage to create an immersive, urban dining experience.

AKA Hotel

A former Holiday Inn in Old Town Alexandria was transformed into an AKA hotel, blending post-modern architecture with the brand’s minimalist, residential aesthetic. With approval from the City’s Board of Architectural Review, we refined the façade using warm materials and modern detailing while preserving key elements. Interiors were reimagined with curated finishes, soft lighting, and art to create an atmosphere of quiet luxury. The result is a sophisticated, extended-stay hotel rooted in its historic context.

The Heigths

The Heights Food Hall transforms a 13,000 SF space that was abandoned by a retail clothing store during the COVID-19 lockdown into a vibrant culinary destination featuring a dine-in restaurant, central bar, adjacent speakeasy, and eight food stalls that showcase the talents of DMV area chefs.
